Service Sector Solution
The Need
The Client, a tax service company with multiple locations, needed a method to process secure Credit Card payments for customers at the point of sale. The Client emphasized that a simple and efficient solution was required in order to process customers’ payments promptly. As well, the Client’s head office required the ability to capture the user’s name that processed the payment, and to report on the payment information by office and by region.
The Solution Through analysis of the Client’s needs, Skipjack proposed a solution that would collect the minimum payment information required, yet still capture County, Location and other important data. To speed up transaction processing time, users were assigned specific locations at the time of login in order to minimize selection options. . The application enabled head office to view processing activity by County, Location and other critical business data points.
The Results The Client realized tremendous cost savings and increased customer satisfaction. Cost savings were experienced through greater efficiency in transaction processing and increased simplicity in bookkeeping procedures. The increase in customer satisfaction was one element used in a marketing plan that helped increase clientele.
